a long sunday

29th June Sunday

7am: alarm clock rings!!! argh…
it’s the weekend, the only time which i get to sleep till noon. instead i had to wake up so early. because it is my company’s family day.
the event was alright – quite fun, wat with all the silly jokes and laughter from the gals.

dearest gave it a really endearing name: “pancake face”. oh my…

i won the 7th prize in the lucky draw – a $50 NTUC voucher. that’s my boss. i think my face is fatter than his. what do you think?

after the event ended, i headed to orchard to meet dearest. while waiting for dearest, i went to borders to buy “the surrendered wife” for sheena. this is a book which was introduced by phyllis. although i did not finish the whole book, i learnt a lot of things from it… things that will improve one’s relationship with the other half. it was a great book, and meant to be shared. so share i did. will write more about this book another time.

anyway, i felt so free walking about in borders. love the feel there. so many books, so many interesting topics. i really want to go back there one day when i have all the time in the world, pick a good book, make myself comfortable on the floor and just read away. saw a lot of books on life philosophies, relationships and buddhism which really caught my interest. i wan to pick up reading again!!!!

finally met dearest around 3plus. by then both of us were famished (we haven’t had lunch yet) so we went to pasta cafe at taka. and had all these sinful food…

you know what, that is the best tiramisu i have ever tasted. it never fails me each time i eat it. i wan to eat it again! dearest says i like it only because i am a alcoholic (the alcohol is so strong you can feel the ’spicyness!”) hahahaha…

then we met up with sheena and jackson for movie! shopped around a little first before the movie starts. dearest bought both of us gap t-shirts! me yellow, him green. both baby sizes! hahahahaha…

Get Smart was hilarious!

oh my oh my, i laughed so loudly, i think dearest was so embarassed by me. hahaha… the crowd was very sporting and at certain scenes, we even clapped as we laughed! it’s just so fun! very relaxing… i loved the show so much, much better than kungfu panda definitely.
but i think the rest didn’t think so. i was still like smiling at the end of the show but they weren’t leh. haha… hmm… different tastes…

after movie we went for fishhead steamboat dinner and was planning to head home straight away. but we ended up standing by our cars and chit-chatting under the moonlight. haha… talked about cars mainly but somehow i brought up the topic about marriage, or was it flats? so on the way home, i spoke to dearest about our future again. and i must say, it was surely a fruitful discussion. update more about this next time! but i’m a happy gal! i’m happy when there is a plan!
