last night we had a mini farewell party for edward at charlie’s corner at aroozoo. correction: edward organized the farewell party for himself (his treat!)
just a few days ago dearest and i walked past the changi village’s charlie’s corner with alfred and we saw erdinger. we both love erdinger, so i was mentally telling myself that i’m so going to have an erdinger during the farewell.
but when i saw the menu last night, i changed my mind. cos i saw little creatures!

dearest and i tried little creature when we were at wild rocket for my birthday dinner. i just did my lasik then so i couldn’t drink. but i took a sip anyway and i loved it! it has this pleasant refreshing taste to it.
and look at the label – an angel… so cute right!
so last night i ordered little creature. ah siong (friend of edward – dunno whether he is the owner or not but he definitely calls the shots there) who is an avid beer drinker, wasn’t tat impressed with my choice and tried to recommend other beers. but i was insistent – the beer was meaningful to me! hahaha… and ah siong said little creature is made from lychee**. so that’s where the refreshing taste came from.
good beer for me!
before they served me the little creature, i had a sip of this ‘girly’ beer (only 4% alcohol content!)

and it was. NICE! it comes in a series of different fruity flavours. i tried the grape first and because the alcohol content was so low, i thought it was just sparkling juice! so when i finished the little creature, i had the raspberry flavoured timmermans. woohoo! nice…
perfect beer for those who didn’t want to get high/drunk. hehe…
after drinking 2 bottles, the alcoholic guys wanted to make me drink another bottle again. i refused (why get myself so drunk on a weekday?) and the next thing i know, someone placed a glass of bubbly drink in front of me. i refused to drink until ah siong quietly told me “non-alcoholic”… haha… and so i drank it, and everyone else thought it was some cider beer. woohoo…
must go there again and try other beers next time. heard that can get discount.
**[edited]: J sent me a link to the Little Creatures showing its range of beers. And, no! it’s not lychee… argh… cheated. LOL. must try the pale ale next time…
